Confusion Breaks Out As Bawumiah Shows Up 30 Minutes Late For Friday Prayers In Ashaley Botwe

The much publicised Dr Bawumiah's visit to the Ashaley Botwe Central Mosque turned sour as the Vice President was late for the prayers.  Dr Mahamadu Bawumiah in smock The Imam who had finished his sermon at exactly 1pm had to plead with the congregants to wait for the veep to show up.  At half past one, Dr Bawumiah reported for prayers amidst protest from the congregants who couldn't believe a whole Jummah prayers could be delayed because of a mere mortal. Such scenes are very rare in our part of the world   In anger, more than half of the congregants left the mosque as soon as the imam concluded the prayers despite him pleading with the congregation to wait for the veep to speak.  Dr Bawumiah was accompanied by the MCE for the Adentan Municipality and the Member of Parliament for the Adentan Constituency.

Mohammed Adamu Ramadan, NDC Parliamentary candidate, at a Durbar of Chiefs and Tribal Leaders at Ashaley Botwe  According to him, Mr. Adamu Ramadan, if wins the seat, will operate an open door policy such that all residents in the area can approach him with their concerns to be solved. Mr. Mahama was speaking at a Durbar of Chiefs at Ashaley Ashaley Botwe where he introduced  Mr. Adamu Ramadan as the NDC Parliamentary candidate for Adentan.
