"I will Set Up Interest Free Women Empowerment Fund" Ramadan
The Parliamentary Candidate for the opposition Nationa Democratic Congress (NDC) for Adentan Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Mohammed Adamu Ramadan has said he will establish a woman empowerment fund to support women entrepreneurs in the constituency if elected at the December 7, 2020 polls. Speaking to party supporters at the Adenta Shopping Centre during a campaign meeting with the Vineyard Branch of the NDC, on Thursday, September 24, 2020, Mr. Adamu Ramadan revealed that the majority of women in the constituency are artisans and entrepreneurs adding that he has the plan to empower them with an interest-free business support loans through the Adentan Woman Empowerment Fund if given the mandate to represent them in parliament come January 2021.
