NDC/Ramadan Shake Adenta



The NDC Parliamentary Candidate for the Adentan Constituency and the former Presidential Staffer under John Mahama administration participated in two health walks in his constituency this morning. 



The first walk was organised by the NDC New Legon Ward. The Assembly Member for the New Legon Electoral Area, Hon. Tony Blair was a key participant throughout the walk. About five hundred people turned up for the health walk. 

Interestingly, some okada riders could not afford to miss the opportunity to tell the NDC PC to thank the Presidential Candidate for the NDC, John Mahama for his pledge to legalise and regulate the okada business. Oman Ghana News spotted bikers who number over hundred who participated in the walk. 



From the New Legon Health Walk, the NDC Parliamentary Candidate joined the Ashiyie youth for another health walk which was heavily patronised by youth.

Hon. Ramadan Supports 50 Needy Tertiary Students

The Member of Parliament for the Adentan Constituency, Hon. Mohammed Adamu Ramadan, has given financial support to over fifty needy tertiary students in his constituency. The source of funding is the MP's Common Fund. The MP's office however declined to make available a list of the beneficiaries to Adenta News insisting that the list was a confidential document.  Adenta News is reliably informed that the MP for Adentan has also undertaken several projects to improve upon the standard of education in the Adentan Constituency. In October last year for instance, he donated a laptop to a student of DeYoungster's School who was a second runner up in the Citi fm's "Literacy Challenge".  Shortly after he took over from the NPP's Buaben Asamoa, Hon. Life is not fair,get used to it and move on

My good friend Kojo Akyina lost his life in what appears to be a ritual murder. His manhood was cut off and he was left to bleed to death in a suburb of Kumasi. When we were growing up, Akyina being a talented footballer wanted to play at the highest level until he met his untimely death. Two years now his murderers have not been found. If ever they were pursued in the first place. What a world?  My nephew of almost the same age who was my childhood friend died a couple of years ago after a short illness. Pappa, left a wife and four little kids and he didn't witness his 40th birthday. The news of his death was broken to me at dawn. It was so shocking to me to the extent that after two years of his demise, I put my phone on silent every night when I am about to go to bed.
