You Really Want To Rig For The NPP; Leave Christianity Out Of This-NDC Haruna Rashid

As an ardent observer of the Electoral Commission of Ghana, I take a keen interest in everything they do. This is because the decisions they make have consequences in the lives of Ghanaians. The decisions they make also directly impacts the outcomes of the quadrennial contests that Ghana's political parties engage in.

I want to be clear as I state here and now that the EC management team of Jean Mensa, Dr. Bossman Asare, and Dr. Serebour Quaicoe are very competent. Even though the mistakes they committed, intentional and not, are legendary, they know and understand their duties very well.

The issue is, the EC lacks integrity, honesty, and any modicum of a moral compass. They are dispossessed of even an iota of morality. Jean Mensa's claim of being a Christian and therefore will not rig the elections is hogwash! But for the respect I have for the Senior Comrades, Comrades, and Colleagues on this platform, I would have used more precise and choicer language to describe Jean Adukwei Mensa's claims. In Islam, as in Christianity, it is the manifestation of your faith that matters, not the cacophony of your words.

Under Jean Mensa, the EC management team has abundantly demonstrated that they are not driven by the rules of the game. That the concept of free, fair, impartial, and transparent elections is alien to them. The compendium of deliberate errors, misjudgments, conflicts of interests, and contraventions of the laws and regulations that govern the electoral process committed by the EC is enough to bring multiple complaints of gross negligence and dereliction of duty in a court of law.

To say the EC is incompetent is akin to claiming insanity when caught with a smoking gun in your hands. Jean Mensa has been caught one too many times with her hands in the cookie jar! The EC is very competent and in control of all their faculties. What they are doing is deliberate and calculated to deliver a certain agreed upon result. They are attempting to subvert the sovereign will of the people and rig the elections against H.E. John Dramani Mahama and in favor of Nana Akufo-Addo. They were appointed to the EC positions to carry out that agenda.

Let's not give them a wriggle room or an escape route. Their day of reckoning shall surely come. Crimes against the state has no statute of limitations. I pray for good health and long life to be a witness to the day that all their machinations shall fail. On that day, the chickens shall be brought home to roost, in sha Allah. Featherless.
