President Mahama's Appointment of Young People Shocked Ghanaians

Let's be optimistic comrades,
I am particularly excited about the youthful nature of president Mahama's nominees. I recall a discussion I was having with some comrades at a base in Adenta prior to the nominations where I said I was interested in being the CEO of Forestry Commission or National Youth Authority and I was laughed at. My own friends felt like "eii CEO paa! Isn't it too big? Why don't you look for some errand job at some ministry?😂 Well, when the nominations started flowing, they were like " Hamza, after all, you can also be a CEO." The fact is that president Mahama has swerved everyone, surprised all of us.

Nobody foresaw these appointments, not even me. We were all thinking he was going to re-appoint his former appointees or old people. As it turned out, all his appointments have been revolutionary. Everyone is shocked by the appointments.

What am I driving at? Let us be happy for our comrades both seniors and juniors who have attracted the attention of the appointer. Let us be optimistic that our turn will come, even if small, even if late. Today, I can walk into NIA comfortably knowing that Yayra Koku is there; I can walk to DVLA knowing that Julius Neequaye Kotey is there, etc. We may not know certain appointees, this doesn't mean that they will work against our interest. There is no cause for alarm. We will test them and if they fail, we will expose them.
