Image
Book Title: Politics of Deceit Betrayal and Unkept Promises Author: Paramza Kofi Hamza Chapter 1 continues (Flashback to when Agama held a meeting with his team and told them he needed someone with masters to be his research assistant. After distributing 5kg rice and few 1 litter cooking oil which did not reach everyone in the gathering, Agama proceeded to make a surprise announcement). Agama the Big Lizard: Thank you all for your kind support to me during my campaign. Without you this victory wouldn't have been possible. I want to let you know that as your member of parliament, I am entitled to choose one research assistant. This research assistant will be paid from the coffers of parliament. The eligible candidate must have masters. (The whole room was quiet as though cold water had been poured on everyone). (Two days later, Agama the Big Lizard and Little Fly were sitting in Agama's vehicle attending a program) Agama the Big Lizard: You know what, Little Fly, I want to make ...

President Mahama's Appointment of Young People Shocked Ghanaians

Image
Let's be optimistic comrades, I am particularly excited about the youthful nature of president Mahama's nominees. I recall a discussion I was having with some comrades at a base in Adenta prior to the nominations where I said I was interested in being the CEO of Forestry Commission or National Youth Authority and I was laughed at. My own friends felt like "eii CEO paa! Isn't it too big? Why don't you look for some errand job at some ministry?😂 Well, when the nominations started flowing, they were like " Hamza, after all, you can also be a CEO." The fact is that president Mahama has swerved everyone, surprised all of us. Nobody foresaw these appointments, not even me. We were all thinking he was going to re-appoint his former appointees or old people. As it turned out, all his appointments have been revolutionary. Everyone is shocked by the appointments. What am I driving at? Let us be happy for our comrades both seniors and juniors who have attracted th...

Reset Ghana and make Ghana greater and better again

Image
Fellow citizens, the clock is ticking and we are very close to kicking out the most useless government in the history of Ghana. This is not an NDC matter. This must be our collective duty as citizens. As a Ghanaian, ask yourself this simple question: are you better off today than the last seven years? I don't intend to bore you with the knitty gritty of the economy.  You reading, you know how expensive it is to buy waakye or a ball of kenkey today as compared to 2016 when Mahama was president. It's entirely up to you to reflect on your living condition and decide who you should vote for.  Please, stop saying NDC and NPP are the same so you will not vote again. That assertion is absolutely unfortunate. Again, I don't want to bore you today by reiterating what NDC has achieved. You and I know that NDC is far far better manager of the economy than the NPP. I entreat you today to reset your mind and reconsider your decision not to vote in the upcoming election which is 30 days ...

NDC 2024 Manifesto Explained

Image
Mahama's Building The Ghana We Want Together 2024 Manifesto Agenda emphasizes unity and oness of Ghana as a nation. Historically, NDC has always been the political party that welcomes everyone regardless of origin, tribe or religion. It doesn't matter whether you are rich or poor, the NDC would accept you.  The theme of this 2024 manifesto aims at reemphasizimg these significant values. That is the NDC is not a party for a specific tribe or group. It is a party for all. Considering Mahama's contribution to the development of Ashanti Region in the past, a region largely viewed as an opposition backyard, it is easier to accept the notion that Mahama will not discriminate against anyone or any region should he be reelected as president of Ghana.  There is a certain perception that the NDC is a party for Ewes and Northerners. This is a false perception considering the overall success of the NDC across the country. The NDC has broken through all aspects of sectarianism, tribalis...

PRESS RELEASE For immediate release: 26TH APRIL, 2024 Dear President Akuffo-Addo, A RESPONSE TO YOUR FRIVOLOUS AND CRASS INSENSITIVE PUBLIC PROCLAMATION ON YOUR DECISION NOT TO HAND OVER POWER TO THE NEXT NDC GOVERNMENT I am writing to you today as the former National Youth Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to express my utmost disgust and outrage at your recent statement proclaiming that you would not hand over power to His Excellency John Dramani Mahama should he be elected President of Ghana in the upcoming December 7th, 2024 elections. Your proclamation is an expression of your insensitivity to our democracy and a blatant disregard for the will of the Ghanaian people. It is a slap in the face of every Ghanaian who believes in the principles of democracy and the rule of law. Your failure and mismanagement of the economy have led our beloved country into a state of economic hardship, and Ghanaians are eager to take you out of office through the ballot box. Should Gh...
