28 August 2021 Nyaaba Felix As part of his poverty-reducing strategies to improve the living condition of his people, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Adentan, Hon Mohammed Adamu Ramadan has rolled out a free skills training program for women within the Constituency in a bid to equip them with hands-on skills to start their own businesses. I Will Acquire A Grader For My Constituency With My Car Loan-Ramadan

Mohammed Adamu Ramadan In his recent neighbourhood engagements with the various resident associations in his constituency, the Member of Parliament for the Adentan, Hon. Mohammed Adamu Ramadan, reiterated his 2020 election campaign pledge to use his car loan meant for every Member of Parliament to acquire a V8 to purchase a grader for the benefit of the good people of Adentan rather than buy a V8 for his personal comfort.  Since I already have several vehicles, I will use my MP's car loan to buy a grader to help my constituency. I don't need another V8. The bad roads in this constituency are my priority.   Adentan Constituency is among the many constituencies in the country facing several developmental challenges including very bad roads and terrible drains. It is for this reason that the Member of Parliament for the area has decided to buy a grader with his MP's car loan to work on the poor road network in his constituency.

Hon. Ramadan Inspected Some Flooded Areas On Sunday

Hon. Mohammed Adamu Ramadan   The last Saturday heavy downpour adversely affected several areas in the Adentan Constituency. After several calls for help from a section of his constituents who were severely hit by heavy rains on Saturday, Hon. Ramadan decided to inspect some of the affected areas on Sunday afternoon.  His first stop was in New Adentan, an area behind the Gibrilla Mosque. There, he observed that a number of buildings had blocked the main drain causing the water to divert into the homes of some residents. The MP pledged to do his very best to resolve the problems. He also pledged a  number of streetlights to the Residents Association when they pleaded with him to help them lighten up their streets.  Hon. Ramadan Condemns Killer Taxes In 2021 Budget

Mohammed Adamu Ramadan  The honourable Member of Parliament for the Adentan Constituency has vehemently condemned the 2021 budget statement describing the tax element in it as "unbelievable" in a Facebook post which has been sighted by Adenta News.  The Facebook post reads: "Nana Akufo Addo promised to move our economy from taxation to production. Don't be deceived. In the end it's all about: taxes! taxes! and taxes! See a list of new taxes and increment on some existing ones. Unbelievable!  1. Covid-19 Health Levy (10 pesewas) to be charged on National Health Insurance Levy. Meaning VAT will increase by 1%.  2. Sanitation and Pollution Levy (10 pesewas) to be charged on the price per litre of petrol/diesel under the Energy Sector Levies Act (ESLA). 3. Ashaley Botwe Highways Taxi Station & Others Benefit From Chippings From MP

According to the chairman of the Ashaley Botwe Highways Taxi Station, the Member of Parliament for the Adentan Constituency, Hon. Mohammed Adamu Ramadan, made a stop at their station over the weekend and had a brief interaction with the taxi drivers where they told him they needed chippings and to their surprise the MP redeemed his pledge this afternoon. Ransford Narh ( Chairman of the Ashaley Botwe highways Taxi Station) The MP asked us what we wanted and we said we wanted chippings. When it rains, our station becomes very messy. That was why we requested for chippings. Mr Ransford further revealed that, Hon. Ramadan gave them GHS1000 worth of fuel. He expressed satisfaction with the kind gesture from the Member of Parliament for the Constituency and expressed his deepest gratitude to him. Hon.
